Thanks for your post. This kind of error normally occurs if multiple files within the location you specify for your script folder contain a definition for the object in question.
What locations are you pointing to? If the comparison folders are a subfolder of the source-controlled ones for instance, you'd encounter this, as we parse the whole folder structure. / comments

Thanks for your post. This problem occurs because when you open a project, SDG will refresh the schema from the database. There isn't an option to disable this that I know of.
One possible workaround is that the project files are basically just XML. So you could open it up in Notepad (or a nicer editor if you have one) and amend the database name. It should then refresh the schema of the new DB you're referencing when you open the file. / comments

Hi,
I've not been able to reproduce this. It looks like it may have been mentioned previously and could affect non-English configurations. We were unable to reproduce the problem in testing though.
Could you let us know:
- Windows Language
- SSMS Language
- SQL + DB Collation settings? / comments

Thanks for your post. The error looks like some sort of security problem, in that the backup software cannot access the registry. As it's referring to the current user section, this normally shouldn't happen as it's your own user profile.
Has this only just started happening, or has it never worked?
If you're on Vista/Windows 7, does it work if you right-click the SQL Backup icon and pick "Run as Administrator"? / comments
