Hi,
thanks for your question. You can do exactly what you want using the SQL Data Compare command line, which is part of SQL Data Compare Pro. To find out more about the command lines, please take a look at our website www.red-gate.com and the SQL Bundle help file.

Cool. We are aware of language issues with SQL Prompt 2, which basically means it doesn't work on non-English systems. We are planning to have SQL Prompt 3 working properly in (almost) all cultures.

Hi Niels,
I'm afraid I still can't reproduce your problem. Could it be that you are using a non-English system (OS, keyboard layout etc.)?

Hi Wes,
thanks for your post. I'm afraid I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. SQL Prompt 3 will be a complete rewrite, so hopefully that will fix your problem aswell.

Hi Dan,
thanks for posting. I get the problem, too, although sometimes it does work. I couldn't reproduce it reliably, though. We will rewrite the parser for the next version, so hopefully this issue will go away. For the moment, the only workaround I can offer is to type the table owner name followed by a dot, eg. 'dbo.' which should bring up the table list more reliably.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I'm afraid you can't do this with the SQL Compare UI. You can do it with the SQL Compare command line, however. To only include tables that start with 'ABC' add the following switch to the command line:
/include:table:^^ABC
For more information on the command lines, please refer to the SQL Bundle help.

Hi Lewis,
Thanks for reporting this. I'm afraid I couldn't reproduce it, though. Could you give me some more information on what you are doing? When does the delete statement change. Have you changed any of the default options?
