SQL Prompt Interfering with DTS execution

One of our team has been battling to debug a dts since Monday wondering why it took 30 minutes to run on his notebook and 4-5 hrs on our dev server. Only to finally discover this morning that the reason why the processor was running at 100% was not because of the dts package which granted is a monster but because sqlprompt was using 95% of the processor capacity. sql prompt has now died an unnatural death on the pc and the dts is running happily with processor utilization of 3-4%.

Is this a known issue or just something out of the blue?

    Hi Wes,

    thanks for your post. I'm afraid I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. SQL Prompt 3 will be a complete rewrite, so hopefully that will fix your problem aswell.
