Hi,
I have added your suggestion to our list. For the moment you could manually move the config file around, although, I admit that that is less than ideal.

Hi,
thank you very much for posting. I'm sorry SQL Prompt 2 doesn't work very well for you. SQL Prompt 3 will be a complete rewrite, including the parser.

Hi,
I'm afraid we haven't come across the problem, here, and I don't know what to suggest, really. Maybe reinstalling might help? Could it be that you are running out of memory? What spec machine do you have? We are currently working on version 3 which will be a complete rewrite, so hopefully that will fix your problem.

Hi Ian,
thanks for posting. Could you tell me a bit more about your system: OS, service pack, regional settings, language? Does it work in Management studio?

Hi,
thank you very much for posting. Making the intellisense more like Visual Studio's is near the top of our list for version 3, and space bar to insert is a definite must have.

Hi Juanita,
Yes, queries, inserts and updates will work without having to close the connection to SQL Prompt, as will most other operations. It's just a few cases in which SQL Server requires exclusive access to a database.
I'm afraid SQL Prompt will keep the connection open, even after you have exited Query Analyzer. This is of course not ideal, and we will fix it for version 3.
