Thanks for the feedback!
So you mean when you drag from object explorer into a code window it pastes the name of the object into the code window?
This sounds like a good idea! What other kind of ways would you want to interact with the results? Is there anything else you would want to see in there as a feature? / comments

It's not possible yet to search in SSIS but it's also something we have logged as a possible future enhancement.
We did have some stability issues around SSIS and SSRS so if you do come across any while using SQL Search then let us know.
Thanks again for the feedback [image] / comments

Currently we're not searching anything in the SQL Server Agent. I'll definitely add the request to the feature list. Are there other people who would like to see search results returned from the SQL Server agent? Please let us know! / comments

Ok I've tested this today no the same setup and I can't reproduce the problems you're having [image]
Can I suggest if it's possible you try installing it on another machine to see if you have similar issues? If you don't then maybe we can get someone to remote into your machine and take a look. It definitely shouldn't be affecting SQL Prompt and that is a fair sign something strange is happening. / comments

Well that's very strange. Certainly not expected.
Can you provide your operating system version and what SSMS version you're using? It certainly sounds like something strange is going wrong, have you got a different machine you can try it on? / comments

Thanks for giving us some feedback.
So first of all try connecting to a server with a database. Then with that database highlighted in the object explorer you should be able to press the search button or Ctrl + Alt + D to search that particular database. Please let me know if you have any more problems. / comments

We're looking into ways of showing multiple match types right now. We obviously want to come up with a way that's clear and easy to understand at a quick glance.
Do you have any suggestions as to how you would like to see something like multiple matches? / comments
Thanks again

Sorry I misunderstood, I now realise you were trying to navigate to objects with a filtered object explorer view.
This should work and I think it's a bug that it isn't. I had literally just finished saying to someone that I was pretty sure it worked when I double checked it on our release version to find it didn't! I've logged this issue and we'll have it fixed for release.
Thanks for reporting this. / comments

Currently this feature doesn't work with every object in SQL Search results. It works with Tables, Views, Stored Procs and Table Valued Functions but not other types.
Does this help or was it not working with one of the types above? / comments
