I am also having extremely slow response times after upgrading SQL Prompt 4 to 5. I have to either disable SQL Prompt or close all tabs containing CTEs just to get my cursor to keep up.
Thanks,

SSMS remembers 24 recently used SQL instances with permissions, so 24 would be nice to have [image] I have 16 SQL instances and permissions registered in SSMS for the ones I don't connect to regularly that fall off my recent list.

I like to take snapshots of my database schema before executing DML scripts or restoring backups so I can verify what changed and restore schemas if needed. It would be very convenient to do it right from SSMS with the Server and Database name already plugged in instead of switching to SQL Compare, clicking create snapshot and typing them in.

Please add my vote for this feature. A feature like SSMS Registered Servers would be great, and remembering recently used servers (like SSMS) would save me a ton of typing. I never use the dropdown lists because there are hundreds of machines with SQL installed and I'm only interested in the same 4 servers (which all have multiple named instances).

Thanks for the additional information. Mostly I dislike having to go to another window and re-type the server and database name when I'm looking right at it on the compare screen. Especially if I decide I want a snapshot of both sides. / comments

Another nice feature would be to have an option to just show the objects you have already marked for compare, and retain that setting when going from Compare to Tables & Views. / comments
