Official commentHi Sam,
Thanks for reaching out to Redgate Support, sorry to hear you are having a little trouble with your Prompt install. In this instance, I actually believe that Microsoft is aware of this behavior and has already released a fix, you can find this being discussed on their forums here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5584268/sql-execution-timeout-error-on-ssms-v21
Could I have you update SSMS 21 to 21.6.17 and see if this behavior is still occurring?

Amazing, thanks for the Prompt response! (pun intended)

If I script a stored procedure using the SQL Prompt "Script Object as Alter"… the new window does not honor the Tools→Options→Query Execution→Sql Server→Execution Timeout setting of zero.
If I create a new window, the proper setting is honored.
Assuming I'm not crazy, can you fix this bug?
I'm using SQL Prompt 11.1.6.19448 inside SSMS 21.5.14
Thanks!
