Official commentHi Marco,
Thanks for reaching out to Redgate Support regarding your SSMS 22 inquiry. I believe there are indeed plans to support SSMS 22, latest figures for an eta that I have been able to find are placing support sometime in mid-late November. That release date is subject to change of course if they run into some blocker.

Same here, hoping to be able to test SSMS 22 with SQL Prompt Extension.

Same here. SSMS 21 doesn't work on ARM, but SSMS 22 Preview 3 is working. So it would be nice if the prompt worked on it.

I've had a support ticket open on this for many weeks now. They keep trying to close the ticket w/o any information. This morning, I received the following response to my inquiry from yesterday:
Chris Tran (Support) Nov 12, 2025, 14:53 GMTHi Matthew,
The estimated timeline for SSMS 22 integration with our tools is end of November/early December.
I will continue to monitor the situation for any changes to the timeline and will let you know accordingly.

SSMS 22 is now generally available and is considered the current version of SSMS. What’s Redgate’s support timeline? I’ve been asking for weeks!!!
Please provide guidance and expectations!

Good Afternoon,
I can confirm that Redgate should be shipping changes for SSMS 22 support in the coming weeks, all impacted products should start seeing SSMS support around the end of November, barring any issues arise in testing.

I know it only just came out , but what are Red-Gate's plans for supporting SSMS 22 Preview? And specifically, when will SQL Prompt finally support Fabric SQL Database, just as it already supports Fabric Warehouse databases? SQL Prompt is a wonderful and indispensable tool for many SQL developers, but your delay is disappointing so many loyal developers who still subscribe to your products.
