Official commentHi Mirco
Sorry, to hear you're experiencing this issue!
If the history isn't appearing, unfortunately, it can't be retrieved and will have to be viewed within your repo history directly.

Hello Dan,
Thank you for your reply.
As I mentioned, in TFS the data is displayed correctly when historical data is moved. However, it is shown with a level of "nesting" that I am concerned may not be supported by SQL Source Control.
Since we have customers with more than 20 years of historical data, the inability to transfer historical records remains an issue for us.
As your software is continuously evolving, and we ourselves have been very satisfied users for many years, I was wondering whether, after a year has passed, you are aware of any developments that may address this limitation in the near future.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards

Hi Micro,
There are no changes around this area when it comes to our products unfortunately, and if you wish to view history it will need to be done via the repo directly

Hello, everyone,
We are forced to reorganize our projects under TFS.
In particular, we need to move the TFS folders containing the history of years and years of changes made to critical databases.
We have done some tests, but it seems that while TFS manages the history even in the face of a move, under SQL Source Control it is unable to access previous changes.
How can this problem be solved?
Thanks in advance
