Cannot sync: create view where a different DB is referenced

Error: Invalid object name during synchronizing structure

It refers to a script to alter a view where a different database on the same SQL Server Instance is referenced. I could "not synchronize it", but then I start needing to manually track this stuff.

Besides telling me to upgrade (out of my control), is there a workaround?

I'm just wondering if it would help to use SQL Compare to ensure the structures are sufficiently similar to allow Data Compare to work. Use a trial version if you don't have a copy already. We generally recommend to only apply a data sync over a compare sync.
