what is the error meaning

I have installed sqlbackup on the server, originally, the Log On As is Local System for SQL Backup Agent Service, i changed to domain account, will this affect the connection to this server through the red gate backup client tool?

the error i got is

Warning 402: Failed to open local data store: Access to the database file is not allowed.

it tried to access C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Data\(local)\data.sdf, but the domain account should have no problem to the access permission.

I don't think you meant to post this on the SQL Response forum - I believe it is a SQL Backup issue.

I think the problem is definitely permissions-related. Please see the following knowledgebase article:
