I have both my default Excel font and SSMS Grid Results font set to Public Sans 12, but when I "open in excel" a result grid, the document is using Aptos Narrow 11. How do I get it to use Public Sans 12?

Hi @RKennedy
Unfortunately, it's not possible to change this behaviour within the tool -
I am assuming the "open in excel" option is coming from SQLPrompt. -
Hi @RKennedy
Yes indeed, I will check again with the development team if it's possible! -
Hi @DanC, Did you get an answer to this? I have just updated windows and now everything is being forced into Aptos -
Hi @tf92
The developers still have it on their board to review, but no updates as of yet -
When exporting or opening reports in Excel, the default font is usually controlled by Excel itself, not Redgate. You can change it by going to File → Options → General → Use this as the default font before opening the file. Alternatively, if you want a consistent look for specific reports, consider adjusting the font in the template or using a macro to apply your preferred style automatically. Beautiful fonts now here.
