You mention SSMS 2022, do you mean the most recent release? SSMS v21? If so, we know that are tools do not yet support this.
But you also mention you removed it, and with just SSMS 19 installed, the tools still did not appear. SSMS always have to be installed first and then your Redgate tools second. So if you haven't done so, uninstall your Redgate Tools. Install a supported SSMS version and then do a clean install of your Toolbelt tools.
If that fails, try the following:
1. Open Add or Remove Programs
2. Uninstall the tool
3. If it still exists, delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Red gate\<Name of tool>
4. If it still exists, delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio XX\Common7\IDE\Extensions\<Name of tool>
5. Reinstall the tool

I've seen the advice for this problem on earlier versions and have tried removing SSMS 2022 and reinstalling SSMS 2019 (version 15.0.18424.0) and I've run a repair on SQL toolbelt, but it doesn't appear to make a difference.
Should I remove Toolbelt essentials and reinstall from scratch? Or is there a better fix available?
Thanks in anticipation.
