I am running SQL Data Compare v 15.3.6.25729. I open a project, run the compare, deploy, and close, and it asks to save changes. I have made no changes...

Hi @FredK
I believe this is more of a failsafe to make sure that no changes are, if any were made. I'm afraid I don't have a way to turn that popup off.
If it's a task you are running regularly, you could automate it through the command line. Simply save a batch file that contains the SQL Data Compare command. Set it up on an automated schedule (or even just execute it manually), and it will do the same process as what the GUI does. -

@Kurt_M, just my two cents, but it didn't always seem to work like this?
As it is now, you can click the save button, immediately close the project, and it will still ask you if you want to save changes before existing even though you just did.
Obviously more of an annoyance than anything, but it'd be great if it could work like it used to, when it seemed to know if you'd made a change and not saved it.
Thanks,
