SmartAssembly System.InvalidCastException Error



SmartAssembly v8.2 

I get this error and I can't even see the project settings. my project is a windows form application written with .net framework 4.7.2.

what should i do?

    I'm afraid the admins don't have any familiarity with Smart Assembly.

    The casting issue you've highlighted is a known issue we just addressed in our closed beta of Smart Assembly 8.3 and initial reports are the issue is resolved. I've added a note to our system to update this once the version is GA (hopefully very soon) to let you and others affected know.

    I'm happy to report this version of Smart Assembly is now generally available under v8.3.1.
