bug in 8.0.0.556

SQL Data Compare 8.0.0.556 seems to ignore the "Use transactions in SQL scripts" checkbox.

It always uses transactions whether you want it to or not...

It did fix the bug I posted about earlier, though--resetting the columns in the comparison if the comparison key changes. I was very happy to see that.

    Hi Scott,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.

    Our testers discovered a couple of problems surrounding the options for Data Compare but unfortunately it was just after we'd published the 8.0.0.556 release.

    We'll do our best to address these problems and try to get a new build out soon.

    I'm glad your other issue was fixed though - keep the feedback coming.
