The cadence of releases as of late seem a bit slower than before. SQL prompt early releases (and other SQL Server Red-Gate products) were coming at quite a clip (one or two a month), and suddenly have dried up since mid-late July. Not sure if it's just vacation/summer time for them. :-)

Hi @StevePe,
I have opened up a support ticket to troubleshoot this issue.
I will update this forum post with what we find in our investigation. -
Hi all,
After troubleshooting with the OP, we were able to install SQL Prompt 10.14.21 into SSMS 20.2. We did not encounter the error, but it could have been due to a faulty install through extracting the .msi file. We followed the steps detailed in our article Installing from the .msi file and it successfully installed.

Getting an error stating "Microsoft Visual Studio 2019+ or SQL Server Management Studio 2016+ is required.
Any ideas why this would occur?
