Not Working, Is Now

After Windows Update Security Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM CU (KB5040948), or possibly something else it no longer launches, any fix?  Well after the third time starting studio it started working again....

    Hi there,

    Can you clarify what is no longer launching? What versions of SSMS and SQL Search are you using?

    We've noticed that SQL Server 2019 with Polybase installed does fail with this CU27 (KB5040948). We've tried disabling PB, patching, and re-enabling PB but that also breaks the server. So be careful with this patch. The server is completely disabled and will not start again until the patch is uninstalled.

    Using version 19.2.56.2 if SSMS, 3.6.18.4516, as noted after the 3rd start it did start working. I did not change anything.

    Just checking in on this again. Has this issue occurred again since the last update? There haven't been any other reports of this.
