Error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Abstractions

I am unable to connect to my Azure SQL Server I am getting the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Abstractions, Version=6.24.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling SQL Compare with no luck.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Can you please specify what version of SQL Compare you are using? Please list the whole version number.
