There's a $50 Amazon voucher on offer to the person who sends in the most constructive feedback on the new network resilience feature. What does ‘constructive’ really mean when we say we’d love to hear your feedback on network resilience?
We’ve been busy pulling out the network cables from our boxes here at Red Gate to put v6’s network resilience to the test (just ask Robin and Matt, our team’s testers, about how many times they’ve had to duck under their desks over the past few weeks), and we’re keen to hear your feedback on how network resilience stands up to a variety of challenges. For us, constructive feedback would give us an insight into where tweaks might need to be made to the network resilience feature to enable it to work more widely for different scenarios. For example, would network resilience work for you if a connectivity problem occurred during a backup?
If you’ve got all sorts of nasty network scenarios up your sleeve and can show us whether SQL Backup Pro can recover from a network problem and deliver your backup successfully without having to be restarted, then please send in a forum message or drop us an email. We’d be really happy to hear from you!
