    Thank you for your post. You can clear the notification permanently by clicking the "Dismiss" option. After this the pop-up shouldn't return.

    @Victoria W - Clicking "dismiss" does not appear to be a permanent solution.  Yesterday, I upgraded to v10.14.10.7538 and saw this ad appear again after the upgrade.  I thought it might be a one-time thing after the upgrade, so I clicked "dismiss" and continued with my work.  Today, after starting up SSMS and starting my first query, I get the ad again.  The worst part, as @jsreynolds1 points out in this post, the ad takes focus so if you're typing a query at the time, the ad gets focus and you are no longer typing in your query window. This is directly interfering with our work and is not appropriate.  Please make it go away.
