Hi @Davidian
Many thanks for reaching out to us regarding this.
Unfortunately it isn't currently possible to change the defaults you already see. I appreciate this is conflicting with another plugin you also use in Visual Studio and so I will escalate this to our development team for their consideration.
I will come back to you on this again as soon as I have an update for you. -
Hi @Davidian
Our development team have now reviewed the request to add additional key options to insert suggestions, specifically CTRL + Tab. Unfortunately, this is not something they are able to introduce to the SQL Prompt at this time. They also mentioned that using CTRL + Tab is already used to toggle tabs within SSMS.
We appreciate that adding additional key options would be useful to you, and so encourage you to log a feature request for this on our SQL Prompt User Voice page. This was our development team can retain visibility of this, and other customers can vote for it.

but is there a way to change this to use a modifier?
Tab is the perfect button for this, but I have another plugin within visual studio that also uses tab with no way to change the key for it.
Ideally I would change it to CTRL+Tab or something like that.
The other options supplied by prompt like enter and spacebar are not convenient.
