How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

Where can I find the "Exclude jobs running...a secondary node" Setting in your Powershell API?

Hello, and thanks for taking this question. I am currently working on writing some custom Powershell code for our new install of SQL Monitor, and I cannot find ANYWHERE in the Powershell API (the downloaded code, or within any Internet Forums) how to set the checkbox option for Alerts labelled "Exclude jobs running against databases that are in an AG if the server is a secondary node". I'm currently working on a Powershell script to copy all "All Server" Alert Settings from our Root Base Monitor to all other Base Monitors, and this seems to be the only Alert Setting that I cannot find in your API. Am I missing something, or is the API missing something? Thanks, in advance!!

    Hi @mchuck ,

It does look like the API is missing that option.  I have escalated it to the development team and will come back to you when I have more from them.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

Ah! Then my hunch was indeed correct. Thank you for verifying, @Alex B, and thank you for talking with your internal folks about it. Cheers!!  :):)

    Hi @mchuck,

The team have released version 13.0.49 yesterday with this option added to the API.  You can download it here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLMonitorWeb/SQLMonitorWeb_13.0.49.32622.exe

Please update and let us know if you run into any problems with it!

    Kind regards,
    Alex
