SmartAssembly 8.2: Can't send reports, System.Web.Services DLL not found (with .NET 6 application)

The new SmartAssembly 8.2 does allow to add error reporting to my .NET 6 DLL but as soon as an error report has to be sent, I get a DLL not found error:


System.Web.Services DLL is a .NET Framework DLL (up to 4.8.1) but is not part of .NET 5 up to 8. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

    Thank you for raising this. Are you using error reporting via the SDK or the Smart Assembly application please?

    Additionally, are you using a custom web server of your own for the reporting or are the reports coming in via our service?

    We are using the SmartAssembly NuGets in our project so I assume it's the SDK. The reports are sent to your server and we grab them later with the Smart Assembly 8 application when opening "View Error Reports"

    After a thorough investigation we've been unable to replicate the reported issue.
    Would you be willing to supply a project that demonstrate the problem so we can find the root cause?
