SQL Monitor - Indexes

I am running version 13.0.41.27834 of SQL Monitor which has the Index information preview. how do i get it to work. currently when I click on the table. I see no indexes, regardless of the time period I choose. Is there some setting i need to turn on?

All of my SQL servers are all Azure SQL Managed instances.

Hi, just to confirm, you are looking at overview and clicking into a database. Once you do that you click the Index tab, and nothing shows? It should look like this.

If the database does not have any indexes, the screen will be blank (example below):

Can you confirm that the database you are viewing is expected to have indexes?

Hi, on my main production instance I currently have 26,817 indexes across all databases. and i get ZERO back in Red-Gate Monitor.

I click on my main prod server from the Overview, then click Indexes and i see nothing.

Ian, I think this will require some troubleshooting on my part. I'll reply to you in our ticket 302808.

Nothing gets recorded under the various index tables in the actual sql-monitor database, so that points to config issue?

I have the same issue...with some (not all) SQL instances.  I opened a ticket for it (302907).

Although there was endless support from Redgate, we opted to not use that feature and waste time. Actually we are still on 13.0.42.28300 , but hoping that an upgrade to 14 would change things. We ended up disabling user permissions checks (this was overloading our load balanced DC controllers and causing high CPU) and also simply disabled the index feature (system environment variable SQLMONITOR_Indexes=0). All is fine, excellent product even without those features.
