Quick question. Redgate is broken after toggling on forced encryption MS SQL

I would assume we need to edit a connection string somewhere to trust the certificate but the web page and the primary redgate database are now disconnected from one another after the changes. Any ideas how to fix this and reconnect them without disabling forced encryption?

    My boss told me to research this problem then went ahead and opened a support ticket. Ill try and post the resolution here for future reference.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out. The issue was resolved by editing the "RedGate.SqlMonitor.Engine.Alerting.Base.Service.exe.settings.config" file within C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\SQL Monitor and updating the trust certificate setting as such: Trust Server Certificate=True;
