Index was outside the bounds of the array

I tried the trial version of SQL Data Compare 15/ 12.3 to compare 2 db backups (SQL server 2012 SP4). It show Index was outside the bounds of the array. Why it happens?
Is the DB size too big? 3.5GB
Is the DB version support?

    Hi @CharlesYeah

    The database version is supported, and the database is relatively small so that's not the issue

    This issue is usually caused by a particular object, to investigate this further we would need the full verbose log files, and better yet a copy of the database backups to troubleshoot
