Hi @kalo
Have you tried clicking on the dropdown in case it's hidden?
Alternatively you can try uninstalling SQL Search using this Microsoft uninstaller to remove the previous version and do a fresh install:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/86975-program-install-uninstall-troubleshooter-windows.html
This tool is good for removing rogue registry keys that can cause installation problems.
Then use this link to reinstall: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLSearch/SQLSearch_3.6.5.3820.exe -
Thanks for the reply Victoria.
Yes, tried looking within the adjacent dropdown but was not showing.
Issue occurred again the following day and Repair worked from the uninstall.
Next time issue occurs I will try following your suggestion.
Thanks again.

Today, the SQL Search button is not showing next to SQLHistory|SQL Source Control.
Is there a fool-proof way to get it back and/or a different route to access it (no menu option)?
When it disappeared this coincided with being prompted to update SQLPrompt - so I did that and on 10.13.14.2694 (SSMS 18.12.1)
