Hi @TinuS
Please can you follow the steps in this article and see if this fixes the issue:
Redgate Client Service fails to start -
I can start and stop services. 'netsh http show iplisten' shows an empty list.'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Red Gate\Shared Client' does not exists on my computer. I tried the installation again. No success.

Hi @TinuS
Please can you provide the client logs.
To open the folder where the log files are stored, click Locate Log Files. By default, log files are located in: C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\Shared Client\Log

Here the Logs

Hi @TinuS
The logs all look fine.
Please can you try uninstalling SQL Prompt using the Microsoft uninstaller:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/86975-program-install-uninstall-troubleshooter-windows.html
This tool is good for removing rogue registry keys that can interfere with your installation.
And then reinstall SQL Prompt:

There is nothing to uninstall! Reinstall does not work. Until now, we are three developers here with this problem!

Please can you install the latest Redgate Client Service:
-
How do I install the service? In the zip-File are only DLL-Files (no exe or setup).
-
Hi @TinuS
You have to disable your antivirus and then try to install sql prompt. -
No success after disable of antivirus. Same error!
-
Cause and solution found! It's the Adaptive Threat Protection of the antivirus scanner (Trellix (McAfee)). You must disable the Adaptive Threat Protection, then the RedGite.Client-Service can be startet and the Installation completes with success. After the Installation, the Adaptive Threat Protection can be enabled again. After restart of the PC, the RedGate.Client-Service is running, also started before activation of the Adaptive Threat Protection of the antivirus software. The RedGate.Client-Service will not start, if Adaptive Threat Protection is active on starting the RedGate.Client-Service.
