Is there a way to have SQL Monitor ONLY alert when a job fails x times in a row. We have jobs that regularly fail for reasons outside of our control and would only be concerned if there were a number of consecutive failures?

Unfortunately there is not a way to do this; the alert will fire when the job fails the first time.
