Hi @MartinC74
Please can you use this Microsoft uninstaller to remove the previous version of SQL Search and then do a fresh install:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/86975-program-install-uninstall-troubleshooter-windows.html
This tool is good for removing rogue registry keys that can cause installation problems.
Then use this link to reinstall: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLSearch/SQLSearch_3.6.2.3390.exe

Hello Support
We have the same problem, The SQLSearch (and other) items disappeared in MSMS Toolbar, only the History button remains.
This happens almost every 4 weeks, we have to run the repair process, which is not really the solution.
This affects all users in our company.
We run Search
3.6.1.3286 and 3.6.2.3390 (but it also occured in previous versions as well)
The log directory has logfiles for every day until the toolbar disappeared.
AppData\Local\Red Gate\Logs\SQLSearch 3
\Local\Red Gate\Logs\SSMS Integration Pack 3
Has daily new files
MSMS V18.12.1 (all users)
Could you please support us
Thanks
Tom

Hi @Wave22
Please can you attach the log files when you have some so that we can take a look and see what's happening? -
Hello Victory
Sure, I have attached some.
On March 30th and April 28th are dates, where the toolbar disappeared.
Kind regards
Tom -
Hi @Wave22
The logs didn't show anything significant.
As it's disappearing at regular intervals it's likely to be environmental. It could be caused by Antivirus or 3rd party software which can remove features and blocking add-ins. You may not know you have anything installed so it may be worth checking with your IT team.

SQL Prompt (10.12.5) and search (3.6) were installed and working until yesterday
Search has now gone from the SSMS toolbar it's not collapsed
I tried to install Search but i get a message that it is already installed.
I had the option to repair prompt from control panel/programs but it didn't work. I don't have that option for Search or the integration pack.
