Hi @VasimThe latest version of SQL Search (3.6) currently supports up to SSMS 19 Preview 2.
You can read more about that release on this page here:
https://documentation.red-gate.com/ss/release-notes-and-other-versions/sql-search-3-6-release-notes
If you're on a later preview SQL Search doesn't currently support that.

Hi @Victoria W,
SSMS 19.0 is not in preview anymore, and it is required for SQL 2022, which is what I am using
Anyhow, thank you for the response; I hope SQL Search gets updated soon for SSMS 19 release, as I it is an invaluable tool for me.

Hi @VasimI'm happy to tell you that SQL Search for SSMS 19 is here:

SQL Search 3.6.1.3286 does not work with SSMS 19.0.2. It actually crashes SSMS. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a solution? -
Yeah, same here; as soon as the SSMS 19.0.2 update was applied, it started crashing; I use another search tool for now; but SQL Search is the best. -
Hi @Vasim, @PMarrero
Apologies, it's the latest version that supports SSMS 19.0.2:

Perfect. Thank you. -
Hi @Victoria W
I installed and tested it, and it is working as expected.
Much appreciated. Thank you -

SSMS V19.0.2 and SQLSearch 3.6.2.3390 is not a working combination for me. Uninstalled both, re-installed SSMS and search , and back in again. SSMS crashed when attempting to use Search
-
Also not working for me on SSMS 19.0.2 and SQL Search 3.6.2.3390.
Repairing SSMS, rebooting, and then installing Searchseems to have resolved the problem. -
SSMS 19.0.2 crashes with the version of SQL Search installed from the RedGate website (their support are aware that this isn't the latest version and it has an issue but don't want to update it). Their support team provided the link for the latest version which works for me: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLSearch/SQLSearch_3.6.3.3612.exe

Cannot install SQL Search, even 3.6.3.3612. I have SSMS 19.1. This is getting ridiculous. They cannot keep the pace with new releases. I really need SQL Search -
I've been uninstalling/installing SSMS for 2 hours now. first I had 18.2, then I installed 19.1 (because according to Redgate, SQL Search 3.6 works with SSMS 19). couldn't install it. So I uninstalled 19.1 and installed 19.0.2 but no SQL Search 3.6xxx was working. Then I uninstalled 19.0.2 and went with 19.0 but still no luck with SQL Search 3.6 or any recent version of 3.6.xxxRobertShattock said:SSMS 19.0.2 crashes with the version of SQL Search installed from the RedGate website (their support are aware that this isn't the latest version and it has an issue but don't want to update it). Hi @MartinChaine
There's been a fix in the latest version of SQL Search so please install this and you should be up and running again:

This seem to have fixed the issue on my SSMS 17.9.1.Victoria W said:Hi @MartinChaine
