Redgate SQL compare tools not visible in SSMS

Hi

i recently started using the redgate SQL application tool, however i can only use it from the Redgate SQL compare application i am unable to see the tools in my SSMS. , am i missing something ?

note i am using v18.12.1

    Hi @MathiasT

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    SQL Compare is primarily standalone application, and so you won't see it appear in SSMS in the same way most of our other products do. It is possible to initiate a comparison within SSMS but right clicking on your database and selecting "Schema Compare/Deploy" from the list, however this process will eventually force you into the main SQL Compare application GUI anyway.
