Thanks for your inquiry and sorry to hear about your issue with SQL Clone.
Can you try restarting the SQL Clone Agent Windows Services, and then run the following Powershell remove-sqlcloneimage cmdlet delete to see if that resolves the problem?

Image creation failed to "Could not create image. Check that the agent is started on ---------- and is connected to the SQL Clone Server."
The agent is connected, so i guess there was temporary issue with it.
I have not being able to find a way to continue with the image creation, but i am also not able to cancel the image creation so that it gets deletes from the server in which was being created.
Could anyone help on how to get rid of the vhd file that was being created? If i try to delete it it says that the file is open in System
