I see that in the latest version of Redgate that Active Directory Interactive has been replaced by Active Directory universal with MFA authentication. However, when I try to use this, I get an error "Invalid value for key 'authentication'." My Redgate is completely unusable at the moment and I cannot downgrade because 13.x doesn't have Interactive and I cannot go back to 14.4 as that isn't an option. What am I missing to get back to connecting to my databases? Do I need to change the Application ID that I was using previously with Interactive? Why is there no documentation about this breaking change in the release notes?

Hi @kdevine this is a new bug that's come around from the "Microsoft.Data.SQLClient" libraries, the team is looking into updating this and should hopefully resolve the issue soon!
In the meantime I've had another customer confirm these versions work as a workaround, for now, please find them in the link attached: https://files.red-gate.com/link/DrJT9kco59IuFIRmEP5Jju -
Hi @kdevine
There has been a release to the frequent update channels for SQL Compare & SQL Data Compare to resolve the MFA issue (14.6.3.19802)
If you go to Help > Configure frequent updates > Tick the box to enable
