Is SQL Backup still actively being developed?

My company is evaluating SQL Backup tools and since we already have the SQL Toolbelt, we are looking at Redgate's offering.

One thing that troubles me is the fact that there have been no updates to SQL Backup since 2019 and the forum here seems pretty dead.

Is the product actively having new features added to it? Is SQL Backup something to invest time into in 2021?

Thanks for reaching out regarding this.

SQL Backup is still very much maintained and supported, with the latest update (v10.1.8) being released on 1st April 2021. This version can be downloaded from here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLBackup/SQLBackup_10.1.8.1596.exe.
