I'm afraid I don't have much to suggest except looking at the log files or trying to reproduce the problem here.
Log files are in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\ANTS Performance Profiler 4
If you'd like me to reproduce, you could mail the project files to support@red-gate.com (using any archiver except zip).

I've tried the mem profiler on my service but when I push the "snapshot" button
My service is gone and de profiler doesn't come back from his snapshot.
My service in written in C#, managed C++.
That's why I wanted to test the mem profiler, to see if old fashion memory leaks are detectable too (when wrapped in dotNet objects of course).
any ideas why my service stops?
