Hi, thank you for forum post.
What is the registry path you find the DefaultOptions2 key? I ask the question, as I do not have an entry named gnoreCheckingSchemaExists in
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Red Gate\Data Compare for Oracle 5\UI\ for the DefaultOptions2 key.
What options do you have enabled when creating a new project?
Many Thanks

Hi, thank you for your reply.
A support ticket has been generated for you. I will make a request for further information, as I am sure you do not want to pass this information via a public forum.
I will post a reply once I have identified the IgnoreCheckingSchemaExists value in the DefaultOptions2 registry key.
Many Thanks
Eddie

With Schema Compare for Oracle v. 5.7.2 under the DefaultOptions2 in the registry settings I see a new comparison option named: IgnoreCheckingSchemaExists
However, I do not see a corresponding option in the UI options nor did find any references to the option in the documentation.
Could you please explain what this option does (is it an undocumented / manual option reserved for special cases)? What issues is it intended to address?
Thanks,
- martin
