Hi Dave,
Do you happen to remember from which version did you upgrade from? We are not aware of any integration issue with 9.5.19.11631.
From earlier version of Prompt 9, Prompt will show up in VS only when you start to type or edit a sql script. Can you try that and let us know if Prompt is still not loaded for you?
Do you see a SQL Prompt folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Enterprise\Common7\IDE\Extensions (please adjust the file path with your VS edition)
Thanks. -
I updated from 9.5.16.11294. I finally got it working after several uninstall/reinstall attempts.
I just installed this morning's update, 9.5.20.11737 and Visual Studio integration is broken AGAIN.
Can we stop this madness, please? -
Also, I do see that folder, and it contains the following files:
10/02/2019 09:53 1,830 extension.vsixmanifest 10/02/2019 09:52 595 PackageIcon.png 10/02/2019 09:52 6,915 PackagePreview.png 10/02/2019 09:53 1,932 RedGate.SQLPrompt.VsPackage2015_2019.pkgdef

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. Could you let me know the full version number of your VS? And a list of the installed products from Visual Studio- >Help- >About Visual Studio page will be helpful.
Thanks. -
Another update, ANOTHER broken Visual Studio installation. When is this going to end?
This time it's SQL Prompt 9.5.22.12050, Visual Studio 15.9.17

Now the integration does not work. An uninstall, reinstall does not help.
