Cannot connect to Azure Managed Instance

I receive a generic 'Login failed for user '...' when attempting to set my Azure Managed Instance DB as the Target for a comparison project in SQL Compare. Is Azure Managed Instance supported?

    I thought they were.  Which authentication are you using in the dropdown?
