Stupidity

Hi,

I am just exploring Log Shipping and have run through the wizard 5 times now without success. I keep getting this error:
Setting up log shipping - Failed
================================

Backing up source database - Failed
This operation failed with errors.
Backing up AdventureWorksDW (full database) to:
Error 500: Failed to create backup folder : D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup\AdventureWorksDWError 505: No valid SQL Backup file names entered.
SQL Backup exit code: 505

Restoring database to destination server - Pending
Operation pending.

Creating backup job - Pending
Operation pending.

Create restore job - Pending
Operation pending.

Refresh server information - Pending
Operation pending.

Where do I have to enter SQL Backup file names?

    additional, and possibly more fundamental - I cannot backup the database to the location marked above. Looks like its not my stupidity in working the wizard but possibly permissions ... or something ...

    If you cannot back up anything to 'D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup\AdventureWorksDW', check that the SQL Backup Agent service startup account has read/write rights to that folder.

    Yup, changing the file location above has removed error in backup and in log shipping wizard. All working now.
