Why has my database linked indicator stopped appearing ?

Does anyone have any idea why my database linked indicator has stopped appearing ?

The databases all seem to be linked but do not show as linked.

    That's seems unsual. Which version of SQL Source Control and SSMS are you using?

    I've tried to replicate this but I've not been able to.
    Some things we can check:
    - Are you using connecting with some credentials that do not have permission for that DB?
    - Does unlinking and linking again help?
    - Does it show the indicator if you create a new database and link it?

    However it has started to work again this morning - strange.
