Early Access Program for SQL Change Automation SSMS add-in

Hi Friends,

The SQL Change Automation (SCA) team have begun working on an add-in for SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) that will allow SQL Change Automation projects to be managed within SSMS. This will allow migration scripts to be generated and edited from within your database IDE of choice.

We’re running an Early Access Program (to be launched at next week’s SQL in the City event) and would love to have some Redgate friends onboard to help develop and get feedback for the add-in. We’re looking for anyone who is using SSMS for their database development and is interested in / already taking a migrations approach to automate their database deployments.

At the moment SCA projects need to be set-up in Visual Studio, so you’d need a Visual Studio license. Once set-up SCA projects can then be managed within SSMS (e.g. importing and generating script, deploying changes, viewing deployment scripts).

If you'd like to participate in the Early Access Program, please leave a comment below or email me at neil.turner@red-gate.com.

Thanks,

Neil Turner

Woo hoo! I'm really excited about this, I'm a big fan of SCA and can't wait to use it in SSMS.
