sql search grayed out options

The sql search options are all grayed out when choosing AzureSQL (cloud), but sql search works fine for sql on vms. I've checked on a few different servers using SSMS and sql search. Same result on all three.

    Can you confirm how you connect to Azure SQL server? If you use Azure Active Directory account, then I'm afraid this is not supported at the moment in SQL Search.

    We have this logged as SDI-719 already, so please keep an eye on the release note in case it gets implemented.

    The latest SQL Search version (v 3.2.2) released today should now support Azure AD authentication.
