Thank you for your forum post.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object error is most likely generated from a null reference exception.
Source Control for Oracle creates a log file in this folder:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Red Gate\Logs\Source Control for Oracle 4\
A log file is created each occasion the GUI is started, are there any entries in the log file that help in identifying a cause to the problem?
