Documentation Formatting Differences in Different Browsers

After generating documentation and copying files to an IIS application location I find that some formatting, particularly in the the header/breadcrumb section, is not rendering well. parts of the header section ad pushed together and difficult to read.

This only happens once the html files are deployed to my IIS server and I browse to the documentation in IE or Edge. Chrome works great. Also, if I browse to the documentation html files and open them from the file system, not through IIS, in any browser they look normal.

Anyone else have, and more importantly solve, this issue?

    Hi,
Thank you for your forum post.

SQL Doc uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in creating the documentation.  It is possible to edit the master style sheet a CSS editor, as per this help document.

It may then be possible to edit the CSS for the file to be displayed correctly on your IIS server using IE or Edge Internet browsers.

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

I found my intranet sites were using compatibility mode by default and this was rendering the pages in IE badly. turned that off and it is back to normal.
