Hi @acbeer
What's the full version number of your SQL Server, SSMS and SQL Search? Assuming you can access to the databases in SSMS, can you just confirm it? Also do you have any other addins in SSMS? If so, what are they?
Can you uninstall SQL Search and then reinstall it? -
SQL Server - any version I connect to. One example is 12.0.5000.0.
SSMS - 17.8.1
SQL Search - 3.1.7.2082.
I have full access to all databases, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled SQL Search more than once. -
Hi @acbeer
I couldn't reproduce the problem. Which OS do you use?
Can you try this earlier version and let me know if it works for you?

I am having the same issue as shown in this link:
https://forum.red-gate.com/discussion/83457/sql-search-does-not-working-on-ssms-2016
All of the boxes are grayed out in SQL Search. I am connected to a server, and I am also using "TrustServerCertificate=True", which I have to use to connect to the server. Do I need to change a setting somewhere?
Thank you.
