no push button while using shared model in source control in ssms

Is there any way to bring push button and a branch name in sql source control plugin of SSMS.

    The push button and branch name is a feature implemented only for Git.

    You can only use the dedicated model when using Git as your source control system in SQL Source Control.

    Thank you for the response @Andrea_Angella but my situation is that I am using shared database with git and was wondering if anyone has done anything similar to this to create that push button and a branch name. It would make life of a developer so easy with those features.
