Hi Redgate Team

Highlighting the first command only to format just this statement will fail cause Redgate already is trying to parse the second statement as well.
This behavior is different to the former version.
Please fix this cause otherwise it is not possible to reformat only a specific code block !!

SELECT 1/1
SELECT

Thanks!

    Hi Tianjiao,

can you please consider this with high priority cause it is impossible to work with Redgate on longer Scripts where there is only one parsing issue (undocummeted syntax, etc.) in the entire script.

    Thanks!

    Hi @torsten.strauss

We made significant changes to the formatting and refactoring system a while ago (version 9.4.1 of SQL Prompt) which solved this issue. This post seems to have slipped through our net, so please accept our apologies for not notifying you sooner.

    Kind Regards,
    Tom
