Overall, the update and install process has been really improved from a year back. Kudos!
As someone who prefers command line, I was going to throw a couple things out that would improve the process further for "power users" or deployment and update to end users that I may manage.
- Direct Download Link for Each Item SQL Toolbelt. I used to be able to download Readyroll for example with
https://download.red-gate.com/ReadyRoll.exe . When I did it this last time, it was out of date (i think), and required me to download toolbelt, and then extract.
- Extract Command from Exe allow param for items to extract with no GUI
- Even better chocolately packages! Very easy to do (I created one from scratch with no experience in a few minutes for a silent msi install). There is one out there for toolbelt, but I'd love to see packages sponsored by RedGate that allow specific components to be updated or installed.
